Think comfort, for you and your kids.
No lint and no dust with Eina BEMS' leather-wools = health
Fibers in Eina BEMS contemporary rugs are naturally attached to the
leather. Australian tanning techniques succeeded to protect the natural
tear resistance of the fibers. This was utterly important because not
mature tanning tends to weaken the natural tear resistance of the
fibers that can be observed with American, European or Chinese tanned
leather.
Compared with woven rugs, Eina BEMS area rugs have the crucial
advantage to be totally free of lint and of dust and are thus safe for
the health of our kids and family. Woven rugs are produced from wool
yarns. Those yarns are an assembling of fibers and once the yarn is
cut, loose ends will detach and form lint and dust. Medical theory has
it that lint and dust from woven rugs can be dangerous for persons,
principally children, with weak lungs directing doctors to prescribe
carpet-less sleeping rooms for those persons... Leather wool rugs are
totally free of such side effects and thus good for the health of kids
and family.
Moisture absorption with Eina BEMS' leather-wools = comfort
Leather-wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture and still
feel
dry. This feature helps to reduce static electricity in leather-wool
rugs
as wool always strives to stay in balance with surrounding moisture
conditions. Leather wool rugs thus procure confort and help sustain the
health of kids and family.
insulation against heat and cold with Eina BEMS'
leather-wools = comfort
The crimp in Eina BEMS wool area rugs makes them stand apart from each
other and little pockets of still air are trapped between the
follicles. This lining of air trapped inside the follicles acts as an
insulator. Through moisture absorption, our contemporary rugs provide
superior comfort in both cold and hot weather and help keep and restore
the health of kids and family. In cold weather, even a little moisture
on the skin becomes cold quickly reducing body temperature. Our area
rugs facilitate body moisture absorption while insulating the skin with
a dry layer of air that helps to hold in the body heat. The
absorption/evaporation process works equally in hot weather to help
keep the body cooler. The wool’s thirsty cells absorb body
vapors and help reduce skin temperature. Much of the outdoor heat is
also blocked out because of wools insulating barrier of air pockets.
Thus the body is kept at an even temperature which enhances the health
of our kids and family.
Leather-wools are water repellent = health & comfort
Leather-wools absorb moisture but repel liquids. No this is not
contradictory. The scales on the outside
of the fibres indeed cause liquid to roll off their surface and thus
protect the health of our kids and family.
Contemporary leather-wools resist dirt
Moisture absorption prevents a buildup of static electricity and
therefore do not attract lint and dust from the air. Furthermore, the
crimp in the wool fibers and the scales on the outside of the fibres
help keeping dirt from penetrating their surface.
Exceptional tear resistance with Eina BEMS contemporary rugs
In leather-wool assemblies each fibre is rooted in the leather while in
woven rugs, the spinned fibres are cut and thus parts are loose and
will ultimately detach and accumulate as dust.
